Indoor Training

Ready, set, erg! What’s an ergometer? Its name is derived from the from the Greek ergon (work) + meter (measure), meaning an apparatus that measures work or energy expended during a period of physical exercise. With each stroke on the ergometer you are actively stretching, increasing fitness, building strength AND avoiding the same old crowd and workout at the gym. Erg classes are held at the Greater Hartford Jaycees Community Boathouse in Riverside Park.
