Run for the Riverfront 5K

Get ready to sweat in support of our community rowing program!
Riverfront Recapture’s Community Rowing Program serves more than 650 people annually, from pre-teens to retirees (we have a few members over 80 still rowing regularly and close to 300 kids in our annual youth programs). We provide classes for beginning, intermediate and experienced rowers, teams for racers, partner with TrinityHealth New England to run the state’s only Adaptive program for those with physical disabilities and/or visual impairments and offer free rowing to Hartford and East Hartford public school students. Our program brings people from all backgrounds, and over 47 neighboring cities and towns, into Hartford’s historic Riverside Park and puts them together to row on the Connecticut River. But we can’t do it without your help. Please support Riverfront and race, walk, jog, row, or erg (or donate to someone who is) at our annual 5k on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.
Register to run, walk, erg or row, or make a donation in honor of a participant.
