Joe Marfuggi’s lasting legacy of uniting the region and the riverfront continues to endure.

Joe was committed to the vision of Riverfront Recapture. Whether it was convincing people it really was going to happen, or letting others know it truly would be a place for them to enjoy and feel welcome, his positive attitude became a force. Joe liked to say that water brought people together, and he proved it in his 28 years leading this organization.
