Community Walking Tour

We’re transforming 60+ acres of inaccessible riverfront land into a community park, Garmany Cove, a regional trail system, and complementary commercial development. The creation of this healthy community asset will benefit the environment, link the region, boost economic development, and connect even more people with the Connecticut River. The tour begins at 100 Meadow Road, Windsor, CT; free parking is available onsite. Plan for a 60-90 minute walk at a moderate pace. The ground is flat but uneven in some areas. Closed-toe walking shoes/sneakers are recommended. Taking public transportation? Our new park is just a three-minute walk from the bus stop at Windsor Ave & Meadow Road. Questions?
