High School Rowing Fall Season

Our youth rowing program blends urban and suburban participants who practice and race together, giving both groups the opportunity to learn from one another in our own version of a magnet school for rowers. Learn more and register here.

Important Dates:

• Monday, August 31, 5:30 – 6:30 pm: Parent/Athlete Meeting, Boathouse
• Tuesday, September 1: Practice Begins
• Saturday September 19: CRI Fall Classic, Boston, MA (tentative)
• Sunday, October 4: Head of the Riverfront Regatta, Hartford, CT
• Sunday, October 11: Head of the Housatonic, Shelton, CT (Varsity/invited JV only)
• Saturday & Sunday, October 17 – 18, Head of the Charles Regatta, Boston, MA (for select crews only, additional fee applies)
• Sunday, October 25: Head of the Fish, Saratoga Springs, NY
• Wednesday, October 28, 5:45 – 8:30 pm: Youth Banquet, Boathouse

Past rowers have earned rowing scholarships to college, participated on US Junior National Development Teams, and earned invitations to the prestigious USRowing Youth Nationals. Our youth rowing program is open to all students in grades 8 – 12, no prior experience necessary. All youth programs are free to residents of Hartford & East Hartford who attend a public, magnet or charter school.
