Recreational Community Team
Paddle with our Recreational Community Team, the Kazoku Hunger Slayers. This is the perfect way to continue recreational paddling. Participate in a welcoming team environment – no experience necessary. Opportunities to participate in other dragon boat-related events regionally will be available to those who are interested. All instruction and equipment are provided. 
Practices: June 2 – July 21, Tuesdays, 6 – 7 pm (arrive at 5:40 pm), $110

DragonFire
DragonFire is a fun and competitive dragon boat team with a long history of passion for paddling, community, and fitness. We welcome experienced paddlers aged 18 or older. We annually race in Hartford’s Dragon Boat and Asian Festival, competing in the Sport Team Division. In addition to social opportunities, members of DragonFire have the option to race in other regional races, participate at paddling camps, enter other dragon boat related competitions and trainings in both the USA and Canada. To be a member of our team, racing isn’t required, but we’re confident you’ll want to!  All equipment is provided.
Practices: June 1 – July 22 & August 19 – September 16 Monday/Wednesday, 6:00 to 7:30 pm (arrive at 5:40 pm), $325

Women on Water
Be a part of the excitement as Women on Water (WOW) begins its third season. Join a team of experienced, competitive women dragon boat paddlers as we prepare to race in regional dragon boat races. You must be an experienced paddler and have the commitment to get stronger as a team. We will have opportunities to race regionally.
Practices: Held two days per week from 6 – 7:30 pm (arrival time 5:40 pm). We will practice every Thursday from June 4 to July 23. You will select Mondays or Wednesdays as your second day of practice beginning June 1 and ending July 22. In addition, Mondays and Wednesdays from August 19 to September 16 (no practice  September 7). $325 

All dragon boat programs are held at the Riverfront Boathouse in Riverside Park, located at 20 Leibert Road, Hartford, CT.Â
