The Big Mo'

The Big Mo’ is Riverfront Recapture’s major annual fundraising event; it celebrates new and positive changes happening along the Connecticut River in Hartford and East Hartford. Public parks have never been as vital to the community as they are right now, so this year we’re bringing The Big Mo’ into the parks it supports.

We hope you’ll join us for a picnic in Riverside Park – blanket, picnic basket, yummy lunch, and beverages provided – on Saturday, October 3, 2020, 1 – 4 pm. Reserve your picnic spot early before the limited number of spaces are taken! Social-distancing regulations will be in place, so please bring and wear your mask when required!

Your support of our Riverside Park picnic helps ensure our parks are open and available for the public to enjoy year-round – and you’ll literally be at ground level seeing all of the regular park activity that takes place.

Picnic by the River
Join us in Riverside Park on October 3! Your picnic basket will contain lunch from Bear’s Restaurant Group and dessert from Granny’s Pies. Beverages will be provided by Coca-Cola and Thomas Hooker Brewing.

Menu:
Chicken sandwich with mac and cheese
Vegetarian menu: Impossible meatloaf, broccoli salad and cornbread
Slice of apple or pecan pie
Choice of beer or wine, and water
