Celebrating Mo'mentum
Riverfront Recapture is transforming 60+ acres of inaccessible riverfront land into a community park, Garmany Cove, a regional trail system, and complementary commercial development. The creation of this healthy community asset will benefit the environment, link the region, boost economic growth, and connect even more people with the Connecticut River. The multimodal trail will connect Hartford’s Joe Marfuggi Riverwalk and the Windsor Riverwalk, closing the final gap in a seven-plus mile Riverwalk system linking the region from South Windsor to the south end of Hartford and East Hartford.
Shelbourne is transforming the 101-year-old former Fuller Brush manufacturing building into Bristle & Main, a 160 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Located in the Hartford North East neighborhood along the main artery of Main Street, this project is strategically positioned to establish a strong connection between the resurgent growth of the downtown and the residential communities to the north. Just .6 miles from Riverfront Recapture’s future park, Bristle & Main tenants will have easy access to riverwalks to downtown and southeast Hartford, northwest East Hartford, and South Windsor, and in coming years, to the center of Windsor.
Support Riverfront Recapture.
