Indoor Rowing classes are focused on the ergometer, an indoor rowing machine used to build strength, endurance and flexibility and to improve on-water technique without the variables of a boat.
Our youth rowing program blends urban and suburban participants who practice and race together, giving both groups the opportunity to learn from one another in our own version of a magnet school for rowers.

These programs are for experienced rowers, and those that have come up through the learn to row and intermediate classes. All rowers will be expected to be comfortable rowing all 8, feathering and squaring.
The CT Adaptive Rowing Program (CARP) was formed in partnership with the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital in 2003. This progarm offers opportunities for people with physical limitations to experience rowing on the Connecticut River with modified equipment.
